Triple Jump offers professional asset management services to investors, ranging from asset selection, to portfolio management and fund administration. Triple Jump holds an AIFMD license and is regulated by the Dutch Central Bank and the Authority Financial Markets. Our investor base includes institutional investors, development banks, governments, NGOs, and retail banks, all of whom seek financial returns and social/environmental impact.
Triple Jump is looking for: Accountant
36 - 40 hours per week, initially for 1 year, Tbilisi (Georgia)
This is a role for a detail-oriented person with a passion for keeping numbers in order. In this role you are responsible for day-to-day bookkeeping, reconciling accounts, keeping our financial records accurate and up to date. You work closely with the rest of the finance team to provide insights based on the transactions processed.
Your responsibilities are
Record and reconcile daily financial transactions, such as bank transactions;
Process supplier invoices, employee expenses, and manage payments process;
Prepare and send invoices to customers;
General management of accounts payable and receivable;
Create and maintain general ledger accounts;
Perform regular bank and general ledger account reconciliations;
Support period-end closing processes (monthly, quarterly and yearly);
Support with annual financial statement audit;
Support the implementation of system and process improvements;
Liaise with other internal departments to resolve finance-related queries.
Job requirements
Competencies
Understanding of generally accepted accounting principals and familiarity with financial statements.
Knowledge of accounts payable, receivable, payroll, bank reconciliations and expense tracking.
Awareness of tax regulations (VAT, income tax & payroll) relevant to bookkeeping.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
High level of accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies, errors, and irregularities. Great time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines consistently. Proactive problem-solver with a willingness to learn.
Ability to work in a virtual team split across Amsterdam and Tbilisi. Be comfortable to communicate with team members and line manager through virtual team meetings (Teams).
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a financial administration-related field.
Minimum of one year’s experience in a bookkeeping or accounting role. Fluent in English.
